One of the instructors in this program once told me, “A good designer shouldn’t be limited to one type of design, but should focus on finding the best solution to the problem at hand.” Over the course of four years, this program taught everyone to discover and develop their own design thinking to tackle challenges in the most effective way. In my opinion, studying here perfectly meets the needs of modern designers in an ever-evolving industry. The program adapts quickly to changes, far beyond the four years of study, as it focuses more on applying design principles than on defining specific end results. I am truly impressed with the program. In fact, what stands out the most to me is the group of individuals who thought of and pushed this curriculum forward—a group of people with a vision who believed they could create a meaningful impact and bring about social change. It’s almost surprising how true that has turned out to be.
When I joined the program nearly 8 years ago, we were studying Interaction Design, which was quite new at the time, and few people even knew what UX/UI was. It took 3-4 years for most people to begin to understand what we were actually studying. What we were learning back then has proven to be vital for the future, and there are many alumni who have gone on to push boundaries and transform the design industry in ways we had never anticipated.
So, I’d like to invite new students to come in and study to become the pioneers of the future. Thank you.

ผมประทับใจหลักสูตรมาก อันที่จริงผู้ประทับกลุ่มคนที่คิดและผลักดันหลักสูตรนี้มากกว่า กลุ่มคนที่มีความเชื่อที่สามารถผลักดัน ทำให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงต่อสังคมได้ ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องประหลาดว่า มันก็เป็นแบบนั้นจริงๆ เมื่อผมเข้าหลักสูตรเกือบ 8 ปีที่แล้ว เราศึกษาเรื่อง Interacetion Design ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ใหม่มากและน้อยคนจะรู้จัก UX/UI แทบไม่มีในสายงานจริงๆที่ทำ ต้องใช้เวลาถึง 3-4ปีที่คนส่วนใหญ่จะเริ่มเข้าใจว่าเรากำลังศึกษาเรื่องอะไร สิ่งที่พวกเราเรียนรู้เป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญในอนาคตเสมอ มีศิษย์เก่ามากมายที่ผลักดัน และเปลี่ยนแปลงสิ่งต่างๆในสาขาออกแบบของประเทศในมุมเรายังไม่เคยรู้ จึงอยากเชิญชวนน้องที่เข้ามาใหม่ “ศึกษาเพื่อเป็นต้นแบบของอนาคตต่อไป” ขอบคุณครับ

สาขาวิชา XDIM เป็นหลักสูตรที่มีความทันสมัยในวิชาเรียน อาจารย์ทุกท่านมีการปรับตัววิชาของหลักสูตรให้เท่าทันสถานการณ์ เทคโนโลยี เทรนด์ต่างๆของโลกอยู่เสมอ มาเรียนแล้วจะได้ทักษะที่สามารถนำไปใช้ได้จริงในสาขาวิชา อาชีพต่างๆได้หลากหลาย เพราะเรียนตั้งแต่รากและพื้นฐานของการออกแบบ การนำไปปรับใช้ นอกจากนี้ได้เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้ทดลองค้นคว้าในสิ่งที่ตนเองสนใจโดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจากอาจารย์เสมอ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น UXUI, Fashion, Graphic, 3D modeling, Art toy, Media Marketing และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย ส่วนตัวดิฉันได้เข้ามาเรียนเริ่มจากไม่มีความรู้พื้นฐานด้านการออกแบบมาก่อน ได้เรียนรู้วิชามากมาย ได้เข้าใจวิธีการดำเนินการ ว่ากว่าจะได้ออกมาเป็นงานดีไซน์หรือ campaign ต่างๆ มีกระบวนการอย่างไร อาจารย์เน้นที่กระบวนการ ความคิดสร้างสรรค์เป็นหลัก ทำให้ได้สนุกกับการค้นคว้าและทดลองอย่างเต็มที่ และยังนำไปปรับใช้กับอาชีพต่างๆได้หลากหลายแม้จะไม่ได้อยู่ในสายอาชีพการออกแบบเป็นหลัก เรายังสามารถปรับใช้ใน hospitality สามารถเข้าใจลูกความต้องการของลูกค้าและปรับตัวไปกับเทรนด์ของโลกได้อย่างเท่าทัน สุดท้ายอยากแนะนำหลักสูตร XDIM นี้ให้กับน้องๆที่สนใจในการออกแบบ ทดลองได้อย่างสนุกสนานและเปิดกว้าง ให้มาเรียนกันนะคะ

The first lesson that made a lasting impact on my work was learning to understand users through User Persona creation and branding analysis. The faculty emphasized these concepts from the very first stages of every project, strengthening our foundation in user-centered design. I believe this is a key principle in all design fields because art is not just about drawing—it’s about communicating ideas effectively through various media, whether visuals, sounds, or other sensory elements.
Many tools and techniques taught by the instructors are still practical and relevant in my work today. Thanks to this program, I entered the workforce well-prepared, with a solid foundation that allowed me to explore diverse career paths. The structured learning approach and continuous guidance from instructors provided clarity in career direction and expanded my opportunities. This program truly equips students with the skills and mindset to grow, adapt, and discover their true potential.

ความประทับใจแรกที่ทำนำมาใช้ในทำงานคือ การเรียนรู้และเข้าใจ User ผ่านการสร้าง User persona หรือการวิเคราะห์ branding ที่พูดได้ว่าทางคณะอาจาร์ยเน้นย้ำตั้งแต่ process แรกของการเริ่มทำ project เลยทำให้พื้นฐานในการออกแบบเพื่อตอบสนอง User ของเราแน่นมากขึ้น และคิดว่าส่วนนี้คือคีย์หลักของการออกแบบต่างๆ เพราะศิลปะไม่ใช่แค่การวาดรูปแต่คือการสื่อสารให้ผู้คนเข้าใจงานของเรา ผ่านรูปแบบสื่อไม่ว่าจะเป็นรูปรสกลิ่นเสียง เครื่องมือหลายอย่างที่อาจารย์เคยสอน ก็ยังสามารถนำมาประยุกต์ใช้จนถึงทุกวันนี้ เรียกได้ว่าตอนเราเข้าไปทำงาน เรามีพื้นฐานที่พร้อมมากๆ และคิดว่าการเรียนหลักสูตรนี้ทำให้เราต่อยอดด้านอาชีพได้หลากหลายทำให้เรามีตัวเลือกมากขึ้นผ่านการเรียนการสอนที่ปูแนวทางมาให้ และมีอาจารย์คอยให้คำแนะนำอยู่เสมอ เรียกได้ว่าเป็นหลักสูตรที่มีความพร้อมรองรับทุกคนเข้าไปเรียนรู้เพื่อที่จะได้รู้จักตัวเองมากขึ้น

It was only after graduating that I realized how much of what I had learned could actually be applied to real work. Throughout the four years of study, I accumulated knowledge, skills, and creativity, which I could then translate into my work. This is especially true in the career of a Graphic Designer, where we communicate through our creations—conveying messages, layout structures, and appropriate color choices to ensure clients understand the content effectively.
The name of the program aligns perfectly with my current job title, making me feel that this path truly suits me. I genuinely enjoy what I do. These four years were a journey of self-discovery, helping me figure out what I wanted to do after graduation. Studying for four years allowed me to explore my strengths, experiment with different areas through elective courses, and ultimately find my true passion.
To all current students—have confidence in your four-year journey. Choose what you love, and you’ll never feel bored or burned out.
